Day 4: June 16th Amsterdam to Porto

June 16th - Good morning.  Our last breakfast in Amsterdam.  I'm drinking coffee and thinking about Anne.  Her house is a 3 minute walk from our hotel.  They hid right in the middle of the city.  Hiding in plain sight.   Bye Anne.  Bye Vinny.  You have helped me with...

Bye Amsterdam

We are flying from Amsterdam to Porto.  A view from our approach.  Not too shabby.

I'm not one to complain about flying to a foreign country on a vacation, but someone was blasting some nasty ones on the plane.  It felt like they were in my mouth.  And to make it worse, our baggage claim was a #2.  I want to #2 in the dude's luggage.

Where's your bag gas fuck?

On our way to the hotel we did some sight seeing.  Most people won't even know what this is.  I haven't seen a phone booth in years.

or an over sized hotel lobby bell

We are checking in to the hotel and waiting for Dave and Steph to arrive.  Co- Anniversary Celebration.  Get ready to PARTY!
I'm excited.

Let the festivities begin.  The couples in 2023.

Chat GPT:  Porto is Portugal’s second-largest city and is the commercial and industrial center for the zone north of the Mondego River. The historic center of Porto was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996. The city lies along the Douro River, 2 miles (3 km) from the river’s mouth on the Atlantic Ocean and 175 miles (280 km) north of Lisbon. Porto is world-famous for its port wine...

...and for its Sunshine

and for its hotties

It's so amazing to be with the Kingsdales anywhere.  But especially being able to travel together throughout Portugal.

A Family Portugal

I feel like I look big in that picture.  I look 2x everyone.  Quick! Someone make me feel better.

Thank you random make me feel better guy

Now back to eating.  We settled down and had some spirits on the water and then headed to dinner about 9:00pm.  Mercadoces is on a side street very close to the water.  Dave made and confirmed the reservation and it came highly recommended by multiple people.  Thanks Rachel and Hank (and Dave)

Great salads.  Sea bass served flaming in a salted something.  Lamb and pork ribs.  Great rice dish.
